Our Story

“Wheels n fins” was a concept born from a childhood vision, in the north African coast, created to support and empower the community and create a safe space for everyone.

Born and raised in Morocco, Faiza’s path diverged from the conventional at the age of 17 when she discovered her passion for skateboarding and surfing. This simple act sparked a profound transformation within her, compelling her to break through societal norms and embrace a form of expression that was both liberating and invigorating.

Yet, as she delved deeper into her newfound passion, Faiza faced the unique challenge of coexisting with the traditional Moroccan culture. Undeterred, she harnessed her determination and turned adversity into an opportunity.

Through Wheels n Fins, she has provided a platform where women can gather, learn, and empower each other, effectively dismantling barriers and rewriting the narrative for female skateboarders in Morocco.

Wheels n Fins brand is not just a surfing and skateboarding initiative; it’s a movement to redefine what’s possible and to pave the way for a new era of empowerment and create spaces where everyone can thrive.
